36-40 medium sized Mucci Farms Living Basil leaves
24 Mucci Farms Cherto™ Gourmet Tomatoes
48 slices cacciatore salami
12 cooked and cooled cheese stuffed tortellini
12 jumbo stuffed olives
Olive oil to drizzle
Aged Balsamic to drizzle (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lightly char peppers on the BBQ, directly on a gas burner or with a culinary torch. Set aside to cool.
To assemble skewers, begin with threading 1-2 basil leaves followed by 1 cherry tomato, another basil leaf, 2 slices salami, 1 tortellini, 1 charred pepper, 1 basil leaf, 2 slices salami, 1 olive, 1 basil leaf and 1 cherry tomato.
Repeat steps to make 11 more skewers.
Drizzle skewers lightly with olive oil and balsamic if using. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
